A BILLIONAIRE'S QUEST FOR PROOF OF "SURVIVING DEATH" & A NETFLIX SERIES

In what may be a sign of our culture’s attempt to make sense of the chaos that 2020 imposed on us, 2 major news events point to the search for meaning in life by proving that there is life after death. As I was working on my review of the Netflix documentary series “Surviving Death,” this article from the New York Times came across my news feed.

“Can Robert Bigelow (and the Rest of Us) Survive Death?”*

As a dedicated follower of the UFO topic who is mourning the demise of 2021’s Contact in the Desert, which is cancelling its June conference and moving online in July, I am well aware of Robert Bigelow’s prominence in the field of UFO research. Bigelow has used his wealth from establishing the Budget Suites empire to explore multiple areas of the paranormal —from buying the Skinwalker Ranch and doing research there for 20 years to answering Lara Logan from CBS’ 60 Minutes question about the existence of aliens: “I’m absolutely convinced. That’s all there is to it.”

So it was a surprise to read of his offer of $850,000 in prizes for what the Times calls:

“his new afterlife contest, seeking the best available evidence of survival of consciousness.”

Judged by luminaries such as religious scholar Jeffrey Kripal and Leslie Kean whose book inspired the Netflix series, this promises to keep the search for the existence of what the Soul Phone Foundation calls “post- material persons” in the news in 2021. Couple that with the fact that interviews with 2 physical mediums have appeared in my Podcast feed and I’m hearing whispers of an interest in seances among the younger generation. 2021 seems to be compelling us to look beyond the veil.

Stay tuned for my review/rant about Netflix’s “Surviving Death.” Here’s the link to the Times article.

PIXAR'S "SOUL" EXPLORES THE GREAT BEFORE

Just finished watching Pixar's new film "Soul" and absolutely loved it! I was drawn (ouch!) to the animated film when I heard it dealt with "The Great Before" which is basically the between lives state that I call the Non-Physical Experience. But that was only a minor part of the film; it truly was about "Soul" - what it is, what it is to have it, and what it is to lose it. (Mild spoilers follow.) It's a beautiful story that resonates with spiritual themes as well as a love of jazz, but you won't have to be a fan of jazz music to appreciate this film. The music is astonishing and unique; it's split between the jazz piano that the main characters plays and listens to —composed and performed by Jon Baptiste — and the music of the between world, perfectly brought to life by Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails fame!) and Atticus Ross. Director Pete Docter is known (and appreciated by me) for delving into deep emotional and spiritual terrain in his previous films - Up, Inside Out and Wall-E. As in those films, some of the emotional highlights are done without dialogue, just a montage of visuals and that incredible music. And I was very glad that some of Pixar’s “Let’s make this into a video game” elements were not evident, something which detracted from the emotional core of Docter’s previous efforts “Monsters University” and even “Inside Out.”
Some of the deeper elements are fascinating; this is not a kid's movie (but there's probably enough cartoon elements to keep them happy.) "Soul" addresses and portrays lost souls who've been disconnected from life plus my favorite: The Zone: the space between the physical and the spiritual. There are references to a shamanic ceremony and since the film is set in a magically realist New York City, there's even a cameo by Pizza Rat of YouTube fame. It's not the film I was expecting; in fact, there's no mention of reincarnation or Past Lives. The film portrays children's personalities being loaded into body's operating system instead of carried over from a previous life. But it beautifully captures Soul and I highly recommend it.

Anthony Peake: DEJA VU OR DEJA VECU?

I am familiar with Anthony Peake’s work for his theory of the Daemon, but I discovered an earlier book, his 2012 “The Labyrinth of Time: The Illusion of Past, Present and Future” and was pleasantly surprised to see that he has also been working through the Time door. He calls his take the “cheating the ferryman” hypothesis and its relation to déjà vu:

Reflecting on the curious subjective phenomenon known as déjà vu, it proposes that this strange sensation of familiarity is, in fact, a memory of a past life in which the subject is experiencing an event for (at least) the second time. Research has shown that more than 70 per cent of humanity have experienced this sensation at least once. This suggests that a similar number of individuals are re-living a life already lived (technically known as déjà vécu). If this is the case then it is possible that some of us can ‘remember’ an event that is yet to take place in this world but has already been experienced in another. We predict the future by remembering the past.

This is the first time I’d heard of Deja Vecu, which the American Psychological Association defines as:

a recurring feeling that one has lived previously (French (for) “already lived”); novel situations are experienced as strangely familiar, leading to a conviction that they are being recollected from a previous life.

Being aligned with both materialism and the fundamentalist religion that is scientism, the APA quickly pivots to “false memory,’ preferring to dismiss the experiences of 70% of the population. But Peake points to something I had been considering:

That the Deja Vu phenomenon can open us to an awareness of an experience from an Other life.

Peake sees it as a “memory from a past life” which I would have agreed with before my Future Lives “initiation” this year. Now I see it as a possible echo from the past, or a reverse echo from a future life experience. (More on reverse echo to come.)

I find myself actually preferring deja vecu in spite of it being lesser known because it refers to an experience “already lived.” Peake introduced me to this concept, and when researching it, I discovered the work of Dr. Vernon Neppe. In “The Psychology of Deja Vu,” Dr. Vernon Neppe lists 20 different types of déjà experience. He writes:

"There are many ways in which déjà experience may manifest. Some of these have specific names:

 déjà entendu = already heard

déjà éprouvé = already tried or attempted

déjà fait = already done or accomplished

déjà pensé = already thought or pondered

déjà raconté = already recounted or told

déjà senti = already felt (as in I have felt this way)

déjà su = already known (intellectually)

déjà trouvé = already met

déjà vécu = already lived through or experienced

déjà voulu = already wanted”

Revisiting “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it” in a 2020 context

“Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it” is a famous and often misquoted line from George Santayana, an early 20th century writer and philosopher who noticed how history often repeats itself. But the actual quotation is an even better fit with past lives work:

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

By implication, bringing our past life mistakes into conscious, present day awareness and seeing how (and with whom) those mistakes occurred grants us the opportunity to avoid repeating those past mistakes. This is most noticeable when conducting multiple sessions with clients where they notice that Santayana was correct: History does repeat itself, even on a personal level.

I’ve avoided any political posts in this volatile year but this story came across my desktop and it demanded my attention. This is NOT an anti- or pro- anyone article; consider it as a doorway into how we humans recreate our past circumstances and then repeat our mistakes when we don’t look inward to question our motives and even our aspirations. (Trigger warning if you’re sensitive to any mention of the 45th president of the USA; I will get through this blog without typing his name, but it appears in the link to the original story.) So I’ll propose this as a thought exercise. The politico.com article* points out the similarities between 2020 USA and the events that led to the Fall of Rome, and I call your attention to the story’s subtitle:

Two thousand years ago, the famous Republic had a chance to reject a dangerous populist. It failed, and the rest is history

With that in mind, here are the details that an historian of ancient history, Tim Elliott, pointed out about Julius Caesar. When a client interacts with a significant personality in a past lives session, I always ask, “Feel into the energy of this person and see if it resonates with anyone you know or have know in your present life, even if they are presently a different sex, age or role.” Or in this historical case, and without mentioning any names:

WHO DOES THIS REMIND YOU OF?

-       “Julius Caesar promised to return Rome to an imagined ancient glory—but instead constructed himself a throne, bulldozing democratic norms, ignoring checks on his power and eroding political debate. Rome chose to follow Caesar, putting the famed Republic on a glide path to destruction.”
- Julius Caesar was already both a celebrity and deeply in debt when he took office,

 -       Questions were raised about his fitness for office

-       “Opponents even ridiculed the way he attempted to hide that he was balding, wearing an oak-wreath to disguise his thinning hair,”

-       Instead of using “the official means by which legislation and public information were put to the people and debated,” he instead “broadcast his message directly to the people” treating it as a “rally, addressing crowds of the faithful with calls for resistance against the corruption of the elites,”

-       “As real debate and discussion disappeared, the citizen body became ever more radicalized into opposed ideological camps. As Plutarch tells us, prominent opponents of Caesar began to be afraid to go out in public without protection,”

-       “Caesar declared that there was nothing to gain by engaging politically with his opponents, and instead addressed his loyal followers directly; he embarked on a political arms race that drew the battle lines of an internal conflict that consumed Rome for a generation.

-       “Caesar had embedded supporters—through favors and the promise of material gain—into the state apparatus, apologists who could block, maneuver and misinform on Caesar’s behalf and who cared more about power than about protecting the rule of law.”

-       “ (t)he more outrageously he behaved, the more devoted his followers became.”

Does this seem like it was written in November 2020? Here’s the warning about not paying attention to how history repeats itself:

Caesar left office only with assurances and massive personal gain: the governorship of an unprecedented three provinces, an army, and immunity from prosecution…  (W)hen Caesar returned to Rome, it was at the head of an army. The environment of strongman politics he helped to create left civil war and violence as the only effective means of political change—and ultimately sealed his own fate.

Note that Caesar finally left office with his fortunes intact and immunity from prosecution, but when he returned to power it was with an army of followers willing to use violent means to restore him to the throne. And as an example of how ignoring the past cuts both ways, the only way the “Dictator for Life” was removed was when he was assassinated, “a bloody tyrannicide in the Senate house itself.” But the damage was done.

But even with his death, transformation of Rome’s political culture into the rule of the strong could not be reversed, as new contenders emerged for yet another round of brutal civil wars that finally extinguished the Republic once and for all.

As Cicero described it, Rome was a society “divided in two” and the republic collapsed.

There are obviously larger forces at work, but here is a lesson for becoming aware of the repeating patterns that we CAN access and release through Past Lives explorations. As the late Dick Sutphen reminds us, “Wisdom erases Karma.”

Updated: I found this Medium post that humorously challenges this idea. Writing as “Gutbloom,’ the author, tongue firmly in cheek, points out that Caesar was a soldier/warrior, a seasoned diplomat, was kind to the poor, wrote his own book, and was not a picky eater. But I cannot ignore the parallels to 2020, and choose to heed the lesson of not repeating past mistakes.

MIKE DOOLEY 'S NOTES FROM THE UNIVERSE IS RIGHT ON TIME

I’m a big fan of Mike Dooley’s always uplifting, and still free, weekday emails called NOTES FROM THE UNIVERSE. Dooley is a prominent activist for daily visualization of goals, regardless of where we are in our progress toward those goals. Oh, and they’re personalized, so it feels like a daily pep talk from The Universe, emailing as a friend who knows that Time and Space are still the ultimate adventure. You can sign up at:

I have to admit, Bobby, when we thought of adding the dimension of "time" to space, it was not wildly popular. True, it would make possible evolution, reunions, and cute before-and-after photos. But it would add to the illusion of separation... "horror of horrors!" Spontaneous manifestations would spontaneously cease... "eee-gad!" And the only way anyone could get anything done, would be if they held onto and moved with their vision in thought, word, and deed, even when present circumstances appeared ABSOLUTELY unchanged for their efforts... yeah, "SIGN ME UP!!!!"

Time and Space, Bobby, still the ultimate adventure.

PIXAR'S NEW MOVIE "SOUL" EXPLORES THE GREAT BEFORE

“SOUL” Pixar’s new movie for the 2020 holiday season

“SOUL” Pixar’s new movie for the 2020 holiday season

Once you open this door and enter this new arena where past, future, and between lives becomes the new ordinary, the mass media seems to reflect this source material. Is Pixar, the studio that brought you Toy Story, Us, and Wall-E, using their advanced animation processes to explore Between Lives? Here’s a description of the new Pixar movie, SOUL:

Director Pete Docter’s new movie imagines a plane of existence called The Great Before, in which our personalities are determined before we’re ever sent to Earth to be born. A plane of existence in which every soul must find its spark of particular interest with the help of lofty mentors like Abraham Lincoln, Mother Teresa and Muhammad Ali before it can take corporeal form and fulfill its destiny. And, should that destiny remain unfulfilled, it is destined to wander an Astral Plane as a lost soul, checked out from a dull, uninspiring life.*

They had me at “The Great Before!” The movie, which would have been the big theatrical release of the 2020 holiday season, will now premiere on the Disney+ streaming platform on 12/25. Review to follow.

Ancient Artifacts Support Past Lives Session Information

Some interesting ancient artifacts have been uncovered by the unfortunate melting of glacier ice in the Swiss Alps. Evidence of a culture that existed as long as 9500 years ago has altered and expanded awareness of these cultures. Historians doubted that people of that era would have no reason to climb to higher altitudes; now it has been proven that they did. There they apparently found:

a crystal vein filled with the precious rocks needed to sculpt their tools.

Ancient rock and gem hounds, and it’s not wooey!

Of interest to a past life practitioner like myself was another aspect of this discovery. Items that would have long ago been lost to the elements were recently unearthed, giving us a glimpse into this previous society’s shoes and clothing. Since I use footwear (or the lack of them) as an entry point to connect us to these past life personalities, using William Swygard’s guidance to look down at your feet and see what your past life personality is wearing, specific data on costumes from ancient cultures can be helpful in the running process.  (See my previous blog post about costumes here,*) If it takes hard scientific data to move past that doubting part of the brain that has difficulty trusting the first image that arises in response to a question, this information can be of help. Plus, the awareness that leather pants and, by some reports, laced shoes were already in use 9500 years ago can give newcomers some confidence in following that first image that might have seemed out of place, easing the path into increased awareness of this past life personality.

Mark Pitstick & the Soul Phone interview on the Skeptiko podcast: Updated

UPDATE 10/23/20:

I’m not sure what to think about this one, but it’s worth noting:

Our working assumption -- based on some clinical evidence -- is that there are imbalanced postmaterial persons in the next phase of life just as there are nefarious ones on earth.  We will proactively address the potential abuse of SoulPhone devices by 'evil spirits'.

So in attempt to land on the list of “MOST 2020 NEWS STORIES EVER” the SoulPhone Foundation just informed us that even after “passing through the veil” that is, dying, we STILL have to navigate NEFARIOUS IMBALANCED POSTMATERIAL PERSONS. So much for sitting on a cloud listening to angelic harp music.

Update 10/20/20 to my previous blog post*:

I heard Mark Pitstick refer to his work as “capturing the signal of spirit” in this interview which renewed my interest in this subject. For the record, I am not endorsing or recommending anything here but since this new work with the Soul Phone is gaining traction in the media, I will be paying attention to those who are working with “post-material persons.” (For the record, if you’re reading this, you are a Material Person.)

Some of the SoulPhone Project’s work, like assembling an “A Team” of non-material persons, is hard to swallow, especially since the A Team stretches from Nikola Tesla and Carl Sagan to Michael Jackson (?!) and Harry Houdini. In this interview, Pitstick defends the A Team:

… about 10 of the evidential mediums… that Gary (Schwartz) researched in the late 1990’s became colleagues, and … they started independently saying, ‘Gary, Albert Einstein keeps coming to me and he keeps telling me that you need to create technology to allow wide-spread communication between dimensions.’ That’s how he got started on that.

I started this post so I could post the link to the Skeptiko interview, but on listening to it, it’s… difficult in a way that many (most?) Skeptiko interviews are. The interviewer, Alex Tsakiris, can be brutally argumentative; so much that I wonder why anyone agrees to talk to him, except that he has a huge audience and it’s great for publicizing a book or project. Alex asks hard questions like about “why God needs your help” in his usual borderline combative mode, but it’s an interesting listen if you’re also intrigued by this research. If you’re up for it, here’s the link to the interview w/Alex Tsakiris on his Skeptiko podcast:

https://skeptiko.com/mark-pitstick-after-death-communication-shatters-materialism-468/

But working on this post, I had an opportunity to think: If I was tasked with assembling an A team of “Post-Material Persons” to work and study with, it would include:

William Swygard, innovator of the Awareness Techniques, which inspired my journey;

Michael Talbot, author of The Holographic Universe;

Paramahansa Yogananda, innovator of Kriya Yoga and my former guru;

To be continued.

Which Post Material People would you want on your A Team? Email me at bobbyb@pastlivesproject.org

UP-LEVELED BY WATCHING "HELL ON WHEELS"

I’ve been enjoying catching up on a TV series I’d missed, the (mostly) excellent “Hell on Wheels.” I grabbed this screen shot of the actor Gregg Henry who plays Brigham Young. The show portrays the American religious leader and 2nd president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) as a ruthless, violent and amoral character. But this one shot resonated with me and my passion for (obsession with?) discernment.

Say Amen, somebody!

Heavenly Father endowed me with the Spirit of Discernment.

MARK PITSTICK AND THE SOUL PHONE FOUNDATION

I regularly find myself interacting with people interested in NDE’s, or the Near Death Experience. So many of the accounts of people who have been taken to the edge of dying and somehow been revived have similarities to the experiences of souls between lives, or what I call the NPE - Non Physical Experience. (There’s an interesting book available on Amazon that compiles cases of Near Death Experiencers who returned with visions of the future, PAST LIVES, FUTURE VISIONS by Carla Heslop.*) Some of the most interesting research in this field is being done by Mark Pitstick who is the director of the Soul Phone Foundation, seeking a technological connection to the deceased, or who they refer to as “post-material persons.” From their website:

University-based scientific research has now definitively demonstrated that life continues after bodily death.   The SoulPhone Project will very likely allow widespread communication with post-material (“deceased”) loved ones and luminaries who want to help us heal our world.  How might this great news change the way you live and treat yourself and others?

https://www.soulproof.com/greatnewsarticle/

Now this is not my area of expertise but I was impressed with their spirituality-based approach, and what they refer to as:

- a vast and varied amount of clinical and empirical – that is, based on firsthand experience – evidence suggests that:

You are an eternal being of energy / consciousness / spirit and an integral part of Source / God / Universe right now and always.

There are meanings behind all life’s events even if you can’t see them from your limited human perspective now. You have unique gifts to share; those are like pieces of the puzzle that, when more fully assembled, bless many people and our world.

You are on earth for a very short time for the exquisite opportunities for loving service, adventure, growth, and enjoyment. You will see your departed loved ones again and can do so now.

You are not a failure or sinner since humans learn by trial-and-error mistakes

There is no eternal hell, just temporary, self-chosen ones.

You benefit greatly by caring for the temple of your soul – your magnificent body and brain.

You have everything you need to handle all life’s changes and challenges with style, even if it doesn’t seem like it.

You can always enjoy a heavenly state of consciousness—no matter what your current situation.

This is not the usual information you hear from those offering to connect you to dead, I mean post-material loved ones. I don’t know what to make of their technology but I admire their approach. And the above guidelines can provide assistance even in day-to-day life in these chaotic times.

*Carla Heslop’s book is worth checking out if you’re interested in this topic, and at the time of writing this, it’s only $3.69 at: https://www.amazon.com/PAST-LIVES-FUTURE-VISIONS-LESSONS-ebook/dp/B088NNHLWS/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=carla+heslop&qid=1600108162&sr=8-4

Dolores Cannon, QHHT & the Release technique

I have been expanding the healing potential of Past Lives Journeying with the addition of clearing techniques such as Ho’Oponopono and something that I’ve known about since the 1970’s called The Release Technique. I first encountered this in a book and have been using it on my self with great success. It was one of the first methods that I felt “moved a lot of energy” around an issue. I don’t know the source of it, and the interweb is not very helpful in clearing this up; maybe telling people about my version of it will stir some memories. As I learned it, the wording was a bit clumsy but effective:

I release you. I loose you and let you go.

I have no reason to hurt you, and you have no reason to hurt me.

That incident that was between us is over.

You are free and I am free and all is well again between us.

The use of the phrase “loose you” always felt a bit odd, and maybe a bit Victorian, implying or making it made to look as if it is more ancient than it might actually be. When working on a post that will appear in the Temporal Component blog, I was once again researching Dolores Cannon and after spending some time listening to her interviews and reading her work, I am becoming much more of a fan. She followed her work into some incredibly strange and interesting places from the mid-1980’s forward to her death in 2014. In this 2010 interview with Regina Meredith available on Gaia TV, (interestingly, the only interview w/Cannon herself on Gaia) I heard her describing the importance of clearing all of our old Karma. In fact, she stated that

You can’t go on to the new earth until you remove your old karma…

Plus this needs to be a gradual process:

You can’t change your frequencies instantly, it will destroy the body, it has to be done gradually.

Cannon refers to this as “tearing up the contract” in this Gaia TV interview. Here is the wording she uses:

We tried. We really tried. It didn’t work. Let’s tear up the contract.

I forgive you, I release you , I let you go.

You go your way with love, I’ll go mine, we don’t have to be connected anymore at all.

This hits the same notes, and she may have encountered the same source material as I did way back in the day. I recommend adding this to your toolkit; try it and let me know how it works for you.

Bashar 's Hot Take on Simultaneous Time Adds Something to the Mix

I knew I had to check out Bashar’s talk from the LA Conscious Life Expo 2019 when 2 different people, on the SAME DAY, recommended it. Message received! Titled “THE PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE ARE WITHIN YOU” this talk presents Bashar’s concept of Capital T-Time with a unique slant. In the Q&A portion at the end he was addressing why, as he puts it, “50 people claim to be Cleopatra.” I thought he was dismissing past life exploration but he was addressing the way people can connect to someone else’s energy and mistake it for their own past life. He wrapped his talk up with this explanation of the bigger picture behind accessing our past lives:

If those lives were truly in the past, you would never be able to connect to them. The only reason you can connect is because everything exists now. …If things were truly in the past, if the past was really past, there would be no way you could reach them; there would be no way you could have a memory, because memory is also created in the present. You would never be able to connect to them, you would never know about them. The only way you can know about such lives and such experiences is if everything exists right now.

Another “confirmation” or rather, another opinion from a non-physical source that what we know of time doesn’t really exist. Bashar ‘s contribution is to consider that everything exists right now. Which is right in agreement with the information that is coming to me through my client’s and my own personal sessions, coming down to these 3 interlocking concepts:

-There is no Time as we know it, OR, Time as we think we know it does not exist;

-All of our Timelines, or Lifelines, are connected/ Its all US in all these lifelines;

-All of our timelines are happening at the same time.

Combining that with Bashar’s input, we have:

-Time as we think we know it does not exist BECAUSE EVERYTHING EXISTS RIGHT NOW;

-All of our Timelines are connected BECAUSE EVERYTHING EXISTS RIGHT NOW;

-All of our Timelines are happening at the same time BECAUSE EVERYTHING EXISTS RIGHT NOW.

As Bashar tells the audience at this 2019 Expo, you have to begin to think multi-dimensionally. That’s an interesting concept, more to come.

5D, DOLORES CANNON, & THE ECHO CHAMBER EFFECT - UPDATED

PLUS: WHY GOOGLE SHOULDN'T BE A VERB ANYMORE

I hear the phrase “5D” way too often in my circle and I have to admit, I cringe every time. My cynical side comes to the fore; it’s become some weird catchphrase used so often it loses all meaning. But it contains an enormous concept, so large that I’m betting most people using it wouldn’t even agree among themselves about it. Many people that I asked mentioned Dolores Cannon as the source, so I went on an online research binge to find the origin of this phrase. Which leads me to Google as a verb: To Google means to do an online search but Google sucks as a search engine in 2020. Any query leads first to advertisements, not all of which even apply to the search; then come Search Engine Optimized pages, which again don’t necessarily apply to the query but promise to direct clicks to websites. I had to change my query multiple times to get past this barrage of useless information, and still got the same first page sites as an “answer.” I had been directed to a new European search, qwant.com, which is promoted as being more private in that queries aren’t tracked and monetized. But I used it just to get past the Google click bait stranglehold on information, and got an entirely different set of results and a very surprising answer.

If the average New Ager is referencing 5D, the most results came from “5D Ascension Symptoms” which basically covers everything not applicable to Covid-19. This is another cringe point to me. But to my surprise, when I looked into Dolores Cannon’s writings, I found that she was referring, not to 5D, but to “The Shift” which is, at its heart, the New Age Rapture!

In TheThree Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth, Dolores revealed: “Groups of people in the past have been able to shift en masse into another dimension. These groups are surrounded in mystery because they simply disappeared, leaving no clues as to what happened to their civilizations. But few have considered the fact that they simply entered a different dimension, leaving no trace behind. The Mayans are a prime example; also some of the North American Indian tribes. I have been told through my work that these groups had become very advanced in their development and had chosen to change vibrations and shift.”

https://dolorescannon.com/dolores-cannon-shift/

Sounds like the Rapture to me! I wonder whether the average person using the 5D idea is aware that Cannon’s version of 5D includes physically leaving Earth energy behind to ascend (another Rapture crossover) to a New Earth. Cannon even references the Bible in this passage “On the New Earth:”

‘They’ have emphasized that this has happened through time to certain individuals and small groups of people. But what makes it unique new, is that it will be the first time that an entire planet will make the shift into another dimension. This will be the New Earth and the new world. This is described in the Bible as the new heaven and the new earth. The others who are not ready will be left behind (just as it says in the Bible) to continue to live out their karma. They will not even be aware that anything has happened.

Once again, if Cannon truly is the source of the 5D meme, how many New Agers are aware of basically quoting Scripture in their 5D reference? And how many will be comfortable with that? My research revealed that there are more Biblical references in Cannon’s work than I’m comfortable with, and quite a few conspiracy theories as well (HAARP comes too mind.) Once again, as with Michael Newton and Brian Weiss’ books, Cannon did not do the explorations herself; she compiled information as the guide through her clients. As a practitioner, I know that I do many more sessions with clients than on my own, but I have experienced many sessions, both alone and with other practitioners guiding me, into my personal past and between lives and what I am lately referring to as future timeline journeys. I would be very uncomfortable writing and speaking about information that I have not explored first hand. The “echo chamber” that limits Ufology and is rampant in the channeling community may be at work here: writers referring to other writings without vetting them or applying discernment to the quality of the information and its source.

Other people I asked have mentioned Kryon as the source of the 5D meme; another response I received more than once is “assorted channelers all the same time.” My research continues and I will continue my research into the earliest use of the 5D concept and its accompanying list of Ascension Symptoms.

(Aaron Doughty, one of the propagators of the 5D concept, answered one of my questions on his blog when he described time as the 4th dimension. I’d been wondering why souls were expected to go directly from the 3rd to 5th dimensions.)

UPDATE 7/22/20

I found an interview with Dolores Cannon on Gaia TV from 2010 where she added some information on the ascension process. If this is true, I’m not sure people who are counting on being ascended realize that there’s work they have to do before they reach the New Earth:

You can’t go on to the new earth until you remove your old karma.

Might that leave a lot of open space on the New Earth? In an excerpt from the Convoluted Universe series of books Cannon asks:

D: So even if they haven’t been working toward it, they will be carried along with it.

V (In trance): yes, because they’re ready for it.

Phew, that’s a relief! They’re grading on a curve!

Then there’s this:

You can’t change your frequencies instantly, it will destroy the body, it has to be done gradually.

And:

This has never  happened in the history of a universe that an entire planet will shift into another dimension… There will be essentially 2 Earths, one is the old earth…

In this 2010 update, some people of lower vibration will stay with the old earth. And some whose frequencies can’t shift will simply leave the planet. But the point is, if Dolores Cannon is the source of the 5D Ascension scenario, this means that ascension is not passive; work needs to be done to release fear:

As long as you have fear, you are held to the old earth… Let go of karma, and let go of fear.

See my new post on the Forgiveness Technique that Cannon recommends and that I have been using for some time now. And I’ll leave you with Dolores Cannon’s wisdom:

You’re going to have 2 worlds, which one do you want to live in?

THE 1ST TATTOOS INSPIRED BY A PAST LIVES SESSION!

These are the ring fingers of Randi Janelle and Rebecca Ash, now sporting complimentary tattoos inspired by an image Randi saw on her hand in a past lives session.

IMG_0502.jpg

Both Randi and Rebecca are featured in the Inner-Views series, and it was during Randi’s session that she felt that, in this previous life, she and Rebecca were twins. As the session progressed, Randi became aware of of a tattoo on her ring finger, and that her twin had a complimentary tattoo on her finger also. Randi sketched the tattoo and showed it to Rebecca who is an amazing tattoo artist. Rebecca used the sketch to design and “ink” her own ring finger. Then during a practitioners sharing session when they were paired together, Randi emerged with her version of the tattoo. This is the first tattoo that has been birthed in one of my past lives sessions, and it is an indication of how powerful this process is when accessing the emotional states of our past life personalities. And how we reconnect with other people from our past lives as we continue the work we started lifetimes ago. Check out Randi’s Inner-View at:

Other Lives: Past, Present & Future, and the MeetUp Comes to its End

Other Lives: Any life, whether past, present, or future, when we are inhabiting a body different than the one we presently occupy.

This is the new area of research for me: Timelines, both past and future, and let’s include present in there as well. When I mentioned this work in an email newsletter, Rev. Sandra Gelinas replied that her work in this area led to her use of the phrase “Other Lives.”

My awakening began when I saw Dr. Bruce Goldberg’s presentation at MegaUFOCom in Laughlin in February 2020. I had previously been unimpressed with this area of exploration, a failing on my part I now acknowledge. But I left what turned out to be the 25th presentation I’d attended that week very impressed. I clawed open my previously closed mind and approached John Till, a hypnotherapist from Joshua Tree, CA with whom I’d been trading sessions. He was familiar with this work and had been using some of Anne Jirsch’s techniques with his clients. I experienced this future lives work and was very impressed. I’d already ordered Goldberg’s revision of his 1988 book, updated as “PAST LIVES, FUTURE LIVES REVEALED” but first I read Jirsch’s “CREATE YOUR PERFECT FUTURE”, which I believe was her 3rd book on future lives. My favorite quotation from that book is:

Concentrate on creating a better future instead of recreating the past. You all need to know that you are the link from the past to the future…I was told that we too often allow our past to influence our present and control us; then, instead of making a strong new pathway, we keep retreading the old ones, even though that is the last thing we want. The key is to go back and create better pathways in your past.

This will have an immediate effect on your present and so open up a better, more positive pathway to your future...All you need to do is take a look at the future to see what outcomes you are not happy with, then go back into the past to fine-tune your decisions.

Only this week when I started to read Goldberg’s book did I find this reference to The Space-Time Continuum:

Modern day physicists use the term space-time continuum (coined by Albert Einstein) to illustrate the fact that there is no such thing as the past, present, or future as we know it. All of our lives are being lived at the same moment but at different frequencies. Thus, your past lives are occurring right now on a different frequency along with your present and future lives. They are all affecting each other. You are thus able to change the past and future by changing the present.

I found it fascinating that Goldberg wrote about changing the past AND the future. He described this occurring during a future life progression:

I asked the patient to go to the origin of a difficulty and she went forward to the 23rd century! The future life illustrates a karmic lesson or pattern, which is usually manifested in their current life. This often includes the same people, and provides a way to learn from the future to correct the present, thereby affecting the future.

The circle of life reframed! Going forward to see how out present energies are projected into the future, then using that potential outcome and our satisfaction with it to adjust the present, which in turn adjusts our future.

I have been exploring what I call the “Near Future” using Jirsch’s methods with great success, going forward 3, 6 and 12 months from the energies of the present. But Goldberg is an advocate of “The Far Future,” which is going to some distant century. I didn’t grasp this until I realized that his “All of your lives are occurring right now” meant that the root cause of an issue could be in the past, earlier in this present life, OR possibly in a future timeline. That was another in a series of expansions in awareness for me.

Another came in a discussion with John Till about this work, he asked if I’d had any clients describe being in more than one body at a time, in essence, living 2 parallel lives at the same time. I hadn’t but that accounts for my inclusion of Present Lives, the 3rd category of “Other Lives.” I recall but can’t find the reference that William and/or Diane Swygard made in this area; their advice was simply, and I’m paraphrasing: “Don’t get hung up on the math.” In other words, don’t use calendar time to refute any experiences if one life seems to end AFTER another one started. That was probably the earliest reference to what I’m now describing as Capital-T Time, this new larger concept of time that is outside of the linear straitjacket.

Capital T-Time has guided me into an entirely new area with my clients’ sessions, and one I hope to eventually introduce to the group format. But I have moved so far in such a brief time that I am no longer comfortable with limiting this work to Past Lives, which includes this website, my MeetUp, and blog. With this new awareness, I have decided to close down the Past Lives Project MeetUp, my connection to the Asheville area MeetUp community for the past 3 1/2 years. I am excited by my explorations connecting past lives to future timelines, and seeing how they move through the present. I may re-launch the Meet-Up with a new name and focus, but the MeetUp format has become stale, as has the online Zoom meeting format. Maybe something new will emerge from this societal lockdown, besides an entirely new way for me to approach our timelines. I hope this next journey will be intriguing to other “time-travelers” and I look forward to guiding you; we’ll take one step backwards before going two steps forward.

Best-Selling Author Joan Grant and "Far-Memory"

Here’s an interesting take on past life exploration by author Joan Grant:

The technique of this type of far–memory, as opposed to the isolated incident which is a spontaneous recall or recovered with the aid of Hypnosis, entails learning how to shift the level of the majority of one’s attention from the current personality to the earlier one, while still retaining sufficient normal – waking – consciousness to dictate a running commentary of the earlier personality’s thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

Joan Grant, who was the author of “Winged Pharaoh” and seven other historical novels, used the term “far-memory” to describe her ability to remember her previous lives. I particularly like how she makes a distinction between her own “far-memory”  and hypnosis or spontaneous recall.  I’m reading “Many Lifetimes,” a book co-written by Grant and her husband, psychiatrist Denys Kelsey, who was one of the early adopters of hypnosis in psychiatric treatment. It’s an interesting read; in alternating chapters, they tell the story of their relationship (he was her 3rd husband) and their shared past lives work. And it’s one of the earliest published works on modern past life exploration, having been released in 1967.

“Winged Pharaoh” was a historical novel based in ancient Egypt and was best seller when released in 1937. In her 1956 autobiography “Time Out of Mind” Grant admitted that “during the last twenty years, seven books of mine have been published as historical novels which to me are biographies of previous lives I have known.” Grant writes of “bodies terrestrial and bodies celestial” when describing her concept of the “supra-physical”:

Implicit in the recognition of reincarnation is the knowledge that the current personality is not only immortal, but is one of a series of personalities. But it is less generally recognized that the body, except for its outer, three-dimensional rind, is equally immortal.

The body of every individual has a physical and a supra-physical component; and when the energy-exchange between these two components ceases to exist, the physical body dies. But the supra-physical body does not die. It cannot die…. The true state of affairs is that the supra-physical body is the receptor of sensory experience on all its levels of activity, and when free of the need to operate through its physical component is infinitely more perceptive than when muffled in flesh.

Being housebound lately has made me more aware of the “muffled in flesh” feeling.

Their take on putting this into practice:

... I decided that I would try to teach myself to play golf by practicing it in my supra–physical —which in those days I thought of as my ‘upstairs body.’

…This is one of the reasons why I know it is exceedingly important to think of one’s supra–physical as being in a state of health and efficiency even when its physical counterpart is suffering from the effects of disease, injury, or age.

Some of Grant’s concepts are incredibly modern, including addressing time:

When asked to explain why some bodies are born with inherent health and beauty, and others are crippled, a frequent answer is to the effect that the body is given to us either as a reward or as a punishment. But our body is not given to us; it is initiated by an earlier supra-physical of our own, although not necessarily its immediate forerunner in the series.

That’s pretty advanced for 1967.

Grant and Kelsey refer to entering the state of consciousness where this work is accomplished as shifting levels or a “level-shift.”. Their reframe on death:

No more than a particular type of level-shift which every individual has often experienced.

More to come from “Many Lifetimes.”

A Cosmic Perspective from EFT founder Gary Craig

Gary Craig is known for innovating the tapping technique known as EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. With his own spontaneous experience of One-ness, plus his study of A Course in Miracles, he has recently moved beyond tapping on the body’s meridian points to utilizing the healing abilities of “The Unseen Therapist”, a non-denominational spiritual guide. This has brought him into interesting areas that would have seemed too far out when he introduced EFT in the 1990’s. From his recent newsletters:

Since the world generally believes that we ARE our bodies, it is naturally assumed that God, therefore, created our bodies. Just because it is generally accepted, however, does not mean that it is true. Thinking outside that "generally accepted" belief can bring us new insights. If you think through the Oneness concept thoroughly, the conclusion would be different from the idea above. Rather, it would be that we were created by God in the Oneness (non-body) state. From that state, WE (not God) created our bodies as evidence of a desire/belief to be separate.

That's a stunning statement. Sit with it a while and let its implications sink in.

The body-state thus becomes loaded with problems that we, with our unlimited power, have believed into existence. That's why this body-state and the world are often referred to as a dream or an illusion by our scientists. This aligns perfectly with quantum physics (all atoms are connected - separation is impossible) and the multitudes of reported Near Death Experiences.

…The Unseen Therapist doesn’t define healing as we do. Her vision is more powerful because She aims at the ultimate cause of all ailments… the belief in separation. We tend to think of healing in terms of the body… TRUE HEALING IS OF THE MIND, NOT PHYSICAL.

I am experimenting with what Craig is calling Optimal EFT in my own work, I’ll keep you posted.

From Science Fiction Ideas to Science Facts

I’ve begun working on a presentation which has been inspired by the information that my clients are reporting in sessions. The subtitle of this work-in-progress is “The Intersection of Science Fiction and Spirituality.” This is because multiple past life journeyers are describing past lives in civilizations that existed prior to the academically accepted historical and archeological record. And then I saw this post by Red Pill Junkie at DailyGrail.com about a TEDx talk that was “flagged*” for falling outside of TED content guidelines. This lead me to another flagged TEDx talk, this one by Roger Gilbertson that covers similar ground to what I’m hearing in past life sessions. From the description of this talk:

A newly recognized type of Earth orbit can travel directly above a great circle formed by some of the oldest and most distinctive ancient human constructions on the surface of the Earth: the Giza pyramids, Machu Picchu, Easter Island, Angkor Wat, Mohenjo-Daro, and many others.

Gilbertson’s presentation describes the advanced technologies that appeared at multiple places on the planet in ancient times, and coincides with this newly discovered earth orbit. Daring stuff for a scientist, and it got him “flagged.” Breaching TED’s content guidelines apparently means considering ideas outside of accepted scientific materialism, which I thought was the point of TEDx talks….

We need more, we need more data, more evidence. We need to begin thinking science fiction ideas and engineering them into science fact… One of my heroes, Carl Sagan, reminds us that “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.” To that I would add that extraordinary evidence deserves extraordinary investigation, and I’m quite certain that if we use our science and our human best-thinking abilities, and we do the hard work, and spend the money, find the answers, we’re going to learn more about who we are, where we came from, and where we might be able to go. And I think building the best possible future is do-able if we know what happened in our past. So let’s do it.

I’m positive that Gilbertson was NOT talking about past lives when he recommended knowing what happened in our past in order to build the best possible future, but that’s a concise description of my mission here at the Past Lives Project. Check it out; its a challenging 20 minute presentation with some amazing facts thrown in. “Handbags of the Gods” anyone?
